Root cause analysis is defined as the process of identifying and eliminating the basic causal factors underlying performance variation. The purpose of this class is to introduce students to the use of the DMAIC (Define, 测量, 分析, 改善, 和控制)解决问题的方法. Several tools for determining root cause will be presented in the class.
